Carrie is the best Realtor® I have ever worked with in the 23 years that I have been buying and selling homes. I have moved 16 times in the military and have bought, lived in, and sold 4 homes. I listed my house For Sale by the Owner and Carrie contacted me offering to sell my home. Carrie is an outstanding Realtor. She was literally available almost 24/7 to answer questions by email, phone, text and worked with our busy schedules to see houses on the market. Most appreciated was Carrie's help getting us estimates of various contractors because we knew we needed some remodeling and painting done. Working with Carrie to sell our home of 37 years was at first daunting. It not only is an emotional journey, but a logistical journey as well. It did not go exactly as planned, and we had to pivot once or twice, but Carrie’s professionalism and knowledge saved the day! We listed the house in mid October, and in the middle of November decided to take the house off the market for the holidays thinking we would relist in March. At the beginning of January, an unsolicited offer came in that checked all the boxes including a rent back option which we needed as we had not yet decided where we wanted to be. That was seemingly great news, but a very challenging agent on the other side made things more difficult than they needed to be. Carrie was well aware of this, and advocated on our behalf forcefully. Carrie and her staff are always available for the smallest detail, and to explain each step of the process thoroughly. After some headaches caused by the agent on the other side, we got to where we needed to be with Carrie’s assistance. I cannot say enough about Carrie’s care of us personally as we went through this process. The sale of our house was only the first step, we still needed a place to live. Carrie demonstrated extreme patience with a client that was very unsure of what that next step would be (me). There were many, many trips all over to see potential homes, but like Goldilocks… none was quite right. Out of the blue, a house in Williamsburg VA miraculously popped up that seemed perfect. Carrie immediately volunteered to drive us down 2 days later on a Saturday, we made the offer on Sunday, it was accepted and here we are! Not only did Carrie drive us and walk us through the buying process, she drove us down again for the closing with a pitstop to buy appliances. When I told Carrie she didn’t need to drive us back down for the closing, her response was ‘I want to see this through with you’. Carrie did not need to do that, but like everything else we found working with Carrie, there is not a detail too small or a bridge too far for Carrie! And to top it all off, when deliveries were made to the old address, Carrie collected them and made sure they were returned. The level of Carrie and her team’s service are unmatched!
